itSMF USA PREPARES FOR 10th ANNUAL FUSION CONVENTION
MOST COMPREHENSIVE IT SERVICE MANAGEMENT CONVENTION
TO LAND IN LOUISVILLE, SEPTEMBER 2010
Louisville, Ky. – May 26, 2010 – IT Service Management Forum USA (itSMF USA), a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to advancing ITIL® good practices and standards in the IT service management (ITSM) industry, will host its Fusion 10 convention in Louisville, Kentucky. Each year, itSMF USA Fusion unites nearly 2,000 IT professionals for this convention to be held September 19-22, 2010 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville. The convention is the largest, most comprehensive gathering of Service Management professionals in North America. Originally scheduled to take place in Nashville, Tennessee, recent floods led to the change in venue.
New this year, the itSMF USA Fusion 10 will truly unite the world of Service Management, incorporating a comprehensive
Spanish program and a
groundbreaking CIO track into the event. Activities delivered in Spanish include a Polestar Simulation pre-conference workshop, an IT leadership workshop, and post-conference ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation Bridge training course – all translated into English via headset. In addition, CIO roundtables, peer-to-peer mind sharing sessions, and actual case studies on mature ITSM programs have been added to help CIOs overcome position-specific challenges. Both of these unique communities will have an opportunity to share ideas during the event and determine if there are opportunities to continue working together once they return home.
itSMF USA delivers the industry's only convention with user-driven content geared toward a diverse audience from entry-level professionals to mature IT implementers including directors, vendors, service level managers, and IT practitioners. Focused on enhancing business value, Fusion 10 offers an array of interactive workshops, nearly 100 breakout sessions, keynote presentations, and discussions in areas of virtualization, cloud computing, smart phone technology, Software as a Service, ITIL®, and ISO.
Industry influencers have called itSMF USA Fusion 10 (www.itsmfusion.com) a "must-attend event." A notable slate of sponsors and exhibitors demonstrates the industry-wide trend toward uniting the world of Service Management. Inspirational speakers and top industry minds will present the keynote addresses at itSMF USA Fusion 10. Attendees will find motivation for improving Service Management programs, discover how to build a stronger team, and expand their knowledge base, while networking with peers and industry experts.
